Layla’s Snips is designed with user privacy as its highest priority. This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. All functionality takes place entirely within your browser.
Layla’s Snips stores only the snippet data that you create
(trigger phrases, handles, and body text).
This information is saved locally on your device using Chrome’s
chrome.storage.local API.
No snippet data is ever uploaded, transmitted, or shared with any external servers, services, or third parties.
"<all_urls>" Permission
Layla’s Snips requires the "<all_urls>" permission so that it can detect
your trigger phrases inside text fields across all websites.

Although the extension can access these pages to detect trigger phrases, it does not read, store, transmit, or log any website content or keystrokes. All processing happens locally within the browser.

All snippet data is stored solely on your device. If you uninstall the extension, all stored data is automatically deleted by Chrome.
